We publish practical, experience-based articles from tradespeople and serious DIYers. If you have done the work and can show it, we want to hear from you.
Who we accept: licensed contractors, electricians, plumbers, roofers, inspectors, designers, and DIYers with documented projects.
What we publish: how-to guides, repair and diagnosis guides, cost breakdowns with real numbers, product comparisons based on use, and “when to hire a pro” advice.
Requirements
- 1,200 to 2,500 words, written by you and not generated by AI.
- Original photos or video of the actual work, with captions.
- A real bio with photo and one verifiable profile, license number or portfolio.
- An answer in the first two sentences of each section, then the detail.
- Primary sources for every cost, code, safety or tax claim; prices need a region and month.
- Safety and code notes where the work involves electricity, gas, water, heights, lead or structure.
- One disclosed author link. No paid or promotional links, no anchor-text requests, no links to your service pages inside the body.
What happens next
We reply within 5 business days. Accepted posts are edited for clarity, fact-checked, and, where needed, reviewed by our licensed reviewer. You keep your byline and ownership; you license us to publish and update the piece. Guest posts are unpaid; contributors receive a byline, an author bio and one disclosed link. Sponsored posts are labeled and priced separately.
We will decline
Thin or recycled content, posts written only for a backlink, content about unrelated niches, and any claim you cannot support.
